  • Start (and complete) core Now Novel dashboard (to end of ‘Summary’)
  • Set up your writing process
  • Create your story summary and plan
  • Finish your first chapter
  • Finish chapters 2 and 3
  • Submit first 3 chapters to coach for feedback
  • Develop plan with coach moving forwards
  • Read How to Write Scenes
  • Using Scene Builder create chapter outline at least 1 chapter ahead
  • Finish Chapter 4 and discuss with coach (Coaching+: Submit up to 3000 words of fourth chapter for feedback)
  • Read How to Write Real Characters: Creating your story's cast & complete exercises
  • Read How to Write Real Characters: Character description and complete exercises
  • Finish Chapter 5 and discuss with coach (Coaching+: Submit up to 3000 words of fifth chapter for feedback)
  • Read How to Plot a Story: Plotting, plans and arcs & complete exercises

  • Write/tweak your synopsis to use when querying publishers & promoting your book
